Jorge Vera Candidate for City Council Dist. 7 was accompanied by his supporters at the opening of his Campaign Headquarters. The event drew a large crowd who are eager to see Vera as their next councilman. Those in attendance enjoyed a steak plate with rice and beans. Plenty of cold refreshments were available to keep everyone cool during the hot evening. The headquarters is located at 1506 Lafayette next to Chapala’s Tire Shop on Santa Maria. You can reach Jorge Vera and his staff for information or rides to the polls during early voting at 956-721-VERA. Early voting for the District 7 race will begin June 1st and will end on June 14th. Jorge Vera is endorsed by both the Laredo Firefighters Union and the Laredo Police Officers Association. He is also endorsed by Roberto Estrada and Jose Maldonado both of whom were canidates in the first round of the election that took place in April.
