Join the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as they kick-off the sponsorship drive for another spectacular event for the 2011 Hope Gala. Local businesses will be invited to sponsor the sensational show that will feature the mesmerizing and dazzling talents of Craig Meyer, better known as Almost Elton John and the Rocket Band, for this year’s gala, which will be held Friday, October 15, 2011 at the Laredo Country Club. For this spectacular evening, guests will be enjoying a fabulous dinner, raffle, live auction, Fund-A-Cure program, which directly supports cutting edge medical research, and of course, a sensational show featuring the amazing likeness of the Rocket Man himself – the music of Elton John

Juvenile Diabetes afflicts 1.4 million children, including many who live in Laredo, robbing them of the simplicity of childhood. However, funds raised from sponsorships and attendees at the annual Hope Gala will go towards research to find a CURE for this debilitating disease.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation portfolio of diabetes research is among the largest in the world focused on cures and better treatments for type 1diabetes and its complications.
