City of Laredo Public Works Crews Resurfacing, Repair Work to Affect Downtown Traffic

City of Laredo Public Works crews will begin milling and resurfacing streets and repairing sidewalks in the downtown area beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011. The work will continue through 6:00 p.m. everyday until May Friday, May 27.
The area to be affected includes San Agustin to Santa Ursula and Zaragoza to Lincoln.
Drivers are asked to find alternate routes if possible as there will be congestion and delays due to partial lane closures as the work progresses. If driving in the area, please obey all traffic signs and be careful with workers in the area.
