Mayor Salinas, Laredo CVB to Welcome, Host Survey for Mexican Shoppers During Semana Santa

“I want to find out why our Mexican shoppers stop here in Laredo, instead of going on to other cities for their holiday shopping,” said Mayor Salinas. “I want to make sure we know what it is that they are looking for; what we are offering; what it is we are doing right; and what it is that we can do to improve any service or offering. We want to make sure that these visitors stay here in Laredo, shopping and enjoying everything we have to offer.”
Laredo CVB staff will be using the mini kiosk to conduct an informal market research analysis targeted at the visiting Mexican shopper. LCVB will also be taking a count of those that approach or use the center to gauge their interest, allowing them to determine the possibly of hosting similar operations during other major Mexican holidays.
