LISD National Library Week Proclamation and Awards Ceremony

Laredo Independent School District Library and Media Services Department will be holding their annual National Library Week Proclamation and Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 18.
The day will start with a Proclamation Ceremony which will be held at Santo Nino Elementary School Library at 11:30 a.m. Mayor Raul Salinas and Webb County Judge Danny Valdez will proclaim April 18, – April 21, as National Library week in Laredo and Webb County. Immediately following the proclamation, an awards luncheon will be held recognizing the elementary and secondary Librarians of the Year. Miss Texas USA, Ana Rodriguez will be the guest speaker at the awards luncheon.
