CITY DEPARTMENTS CLOSURE NOTICE

All City of Laredo administrative offices will be closed on Friday, April 22, 2011 in observance of the Easter holiday. Protective and emergency services will be operational. No garbage or recycling/branch pick-up will be available that day. Trash and recycling/branch pick-up schedule will resume on regularly scheduled routes on Monday, April 25, 2011. The City of Laredo Landfill and Recycling Center will be open to resident users from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 22 and will be closed both Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24.
The Laredo Public Library and Bruni Plaza branch will also be closed from Friday, April 22 through Sunday, April 24, 2011. The Bruni Plaza Branch will be closed on Monday, April 25, 2011.
The City of Laredo Municipal Court will also be closed on Friday, April 22, 2011. Individuals scheduled to appear in court that day have a minimum of 10 working days to make an appearance. Contact Municipal Court for more information at 794-1680.
El Metro bus service will run on regularly scheduled bus routes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. City of Laredo administrative offices will re-open on Monday, April 25, 2011, during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The next regularly scheduled City Council meeting will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011 at City Hall at 5:30 p.m.
