Laredo’s Founding Father’s Family Tree and Branches Throughout the Community

Laredo, TX – Come learn more about Laredo’s own founding father, Captain Tomás Sanchez, at a presentation on Saturday, March 26, 2011, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Laredo Public Library HEB Multi-Purpose Room, 1120 E. Calton.
Villa San Agustin de Laredo Genealogical Society (VSALGS) will host a special presentation by historian Ricardo “Rick” Moreno, Ph.D., on the Moreno Family Tree and its connection with Laredo’s founder, Captain Tomás Sanchez.
If someone would like to start their own family tree, members of the VSALGS will be available that day to help start the process. Additionally, the Laredo Public Library has resources to help find family roots.
