Courtesy Xochitl Mora,
General contractors are required to have certain hours in traffic control and other areas for working in the public right of way. Many times, the trainings are in English and often intimidating for local contractors.
The City of Laredo received a grant from the State of Texas to be able to offer the training in Spanish. The training is offered by Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) through Texas A&M University.
For more information on this session or for future training sessions, please contact the City of Laredo Building Development Services Department at 794-1625.
