Luis Angel Soria, Jr. pled guilty to Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury (F/2) in the 406th District Court. He pled guilty to having run over his former girlfriend, Elizabeth Dalrymple, on July 28, 2009. The couple had reportedly been arguing at a local establishment called “The Location” and left together. Soria was driving the car when, somehow, the female exited the vehicle on Jacaman Road and was run over by Soria’s vehicle. He proceeded to take her home and place her in her bed and close her bedroom door. Her mother overheard her daughter’s crying and broke the locked bedroom door & called 911. She was taken to Doctor’s Hospital and later airlifted to San Antonio with a broken pelvis.
He is to pay $50,000 at sentencing and another $75,000 during his ten years on probation. The monies are being collected to reimburse the victim for medical expenses. Sentencing is to be scheduled by the 406th District Court within a month.
