Webb County Officials Sworn into Office

Laredo-Tx, Recently Elected and Re-Elected Webb County Officials took their oaths of office Saturday January 1st in over crowded standing room only fashion with ceremonies filled with family and supporters. Most of the ceremonies took place downtown Webb County Judge Danny Valdez and Commissioners Rosaura “Wawi” Tijerina and incoming Commissioner Jaime Canales had their ceremonies at the Webb County Court House other public servants took their oaths of office at the Webb County Justice Center. Justice of the Peace Ricardo Rangel and Justice of the Peace Ramiro Veliz Jr. had their oaths administered at the Jesus “Chuy” Salazar Justice Building in South Laredo. Webb County Public Servants who were sworn in are the following: Justice of the Peace Alfredo Garcia, Justice of the Peace Ricardo Rangel, Justice of the Peace Ramiro Veliz Jr, Justice of the Peace Oscar Liendo, Justice of the Peace Oscar Martinez, Webb County Judge Danny Valdez, Webb County Commissioner Rosaura “Wawi” Tijerina, Webb County Commissioner Jaime Canales, Webb County Treasurer Delia Perales, Webb County Clerk Margie Ibarra, Webb County District Clerk Eshther Degollado, 111th District Judge Monica Notzon, County Court at Law 2 Judge Jesus “Chuy” Salazar, County Court at Law 1 Judge Ben Morales, and 49th District Court Judge Joe Lopez.
