LISD to Conduct Public Hearing

The Laredo Independent School District Board of Trustees will be conducting a public hearing on Thursday, January 20, at 6:00 p.m. at the LISD Board Room located on 1620 Houston St.
The public hearing will be held to inform the community on the results of the 2009-2010 Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) Report issued annually by the Texas Education Agency. The public is encouraged to attend and will be given the opportunity to comment on the report during the hearing. The AEIS report details the educational performance of the district and of each campus in relation to the district, the state, and a comparable group of schools.
