The Gateway City Book Lovers’ Club will be ringing in the new year at its January meeting by having a potluck dinner, celebrating the beginning of its fifth year and welcoming any new members who are interested in joining us in the new year of 2011.
Also, the first book discussion of the year will take place at this meeting on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Laredo Public Library 1st Floor Conference Room. Members will delve into The Post-American World by Newsweek magazine editor Fareed Zakaria.
