Recognitions at Dec 6 City Council Meeting

Mayor Raul G. Salinas and the Laredo City Council recognized Laredo’s American Legion Color Guard, the only legion color guard in South Texas, for their many years of service to the veterans of Laredo and the surrounding area; especially, in providing service at veterans’ funerals.
The 2010-2011 Sister Cities Youth Committee was presented; the group has plans to continue on their efforts to build Sister Cities relationships, and possibly travel to other Laredo Sister Cities throughout the globe.
