Lane closures for extended US 83 S.-Loop 20 road work

LAREDO – Lane closures on US 83 S. at Loop 20 will continue December 7-9, and December 14-16 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Closures will entail closing southbound US 83 turning lane at Loop 20, and eastbound Ross St. at US 83. (Ross St. is located due west of US 83-Loop 20 intersection opposite end of Loop 20 at US 83.)
DETOUR: Southbound US 83 traffic approaching US 83-SH 359 Three Points Interchange will be detoured to SH 359 ramp over US 83 for continued travel on SH 359 to Loop 20.
The traveling public can expect delays and prepare to merge to open lane(s).
Please drive with caution, observe advanced warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
