LISD Celebrates American Education Week

Courtesy Roberto Treviño,

Laredo Independent School District is celebrating American Education Week. The annual celebration takes place November 14-20.  This year’s theme “Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility” spotlights the importance of providing every child in America with a quality public education from kindergarten through college and the need for everyone to do his or her part in making public schools great.

LISD celebrates American Education Week by inviting parents into their children’s classrooms for an Open House and Report Card Day at each campus.
