Lane Closures on Loop 20-SH 359 this Sunday

LAREDO – Alternating lane closures will occur on Loop 20 northbound, north of the Loop 20-SH 359 intersection on Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. for traffic layout work and concrete traffic barrier placement, respectively.
Please slow down, merge to open lanes and expect delays.
The traveling public is advised to observe advanced warning traffic safety signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
The aforementioned work is part of the newly inaugurated Cuatro Vientos Interchange (Loop 20-SH 359) Project in Laredo/Webb County being constructed by Ballenger Construction Company at a cost of $18 million. The interchange at Loop 20 and State Highway 359 will consist of a bridge with connecting ramps to Loop 20 and SH 359. The bridge overpass structure will access roads parallel to the Loop 20 main lanes at intersection of Cuatro Vientos Road and Loop 20/SH 359. Estimated project completion is scheduled for May 2012, weather permitting.
