Friends of the Family Public Service Announcement Campaign “Dining for Books”

The City of Laredo is on a fast track to add two new branch libraries to offer the community, but needs some friends and a lot of help to fill those shelves with books. Thanks to the Friends of the Library, that task is going to be much easier. They are trying to raise $250,000 for this wonderful endeavor and their first project is a fundraiser at Chili’ Grill & Bar, located at 5702 San Bernardo Aveue, on Monday, October 18, 2010. All day, on every order, dine-in and carry-out, 10% of every ticket will be donated to the Friends of the Library.
