CUELLAR STATEMENT REGARDING ON GOING SEARCH FOR DAVID HARTLEY

WASHINGTON, DC – Today Congressman Henry Cuellar, TX-28, released the following response to the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ statement:
“I’m pleased to receive notification that the Mexican law enforcement community is moving expeditiously and with their full force. An aggressive investigation, with total cooperation between governments, is required in order to get the answers that the Hartley family desperately needs. Since the incident occurred in Mexico, the United States does not have jurisdictional authority; however, as from the beginning, those in the federal government are at the ready to support in any way possible.”
