Webb County To Introduce Fire Department

Webb County Judge Danny Valdez and the Commissioners Court will hold a press conference Tuesday, September 28th to introduce the newly created Webb County Fire Department. The press conference will take place at 2 p.m. at the Webb County Courthouse located at 1000 Houston.
During the press conference, information will be given on the new department and members of the Court and the fire department as well as volunteers will be on hand. Immediately following the press conference the public will be able to view the vehicles and equipment that will be used when the department officially starts operations on October 1st.
“Public safety is the number one goal of our new fire department,” said Judge Danny Valdez. “We want the residents to know that the fire department will be fully operational on October 1st and ready to serve the needs of residents that live outside the city.”
