Earlier today, City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas welcomed Raul Leal, of the Texas Department of Transportation and leading members of the Laredo community, including Selita Borchers, representing her sister, State Senator Judith Zaffirini, to proclaim the month National Child Passenger Safety Month in Laredo (proclamation attached), citing the high statistics of easily preventable children’s death, with the proper use of child safety and booster seats.
