Week 11 (August 8-14) – Jonathan Cisneros, 3B, batted .522 average, 2 HR, 9 Runs with a .593 On Base Percentage. The award is sponsored by Embassy Suites of Laredo.
Cisneros was signed by the Amarillo Dillas in the United League on 6/18/10 and then after playing in only eight games with the Dillas was traded to the Laredo Broncos for a player to be named on July 3rd. Cisneros graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio where he played against current Bronco Jeff Jamnik. In 8 games with the Dillas prior to be acquired by Laredo Cisneros hit .406 with 10 RBI, 5 walks and 2 home runs

Week 12 (August 15 – 21) – Jose Canseco, DH, batted .355 average, 4 HR, 13 RBI, 7 runs scored. The award is sponsored by LifeintheMinors.com.
In 1985, Canseco won the Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year Award, and was a late season call-up for the Oakland A’s, playing in 29 games in the major leagues in 1985. In 1986, his first full season, he was named the American League’s Rookie of the Year after connecting on 33 home runs and 117 runs batted in.In 1988, Canseco became the first player in major league history to hit at least 40 home runs and steal at least 40 bases in the same year, by hitting 42 home runs and stealing 40 bases. In 1989, Canseco hit 17 home runs for the World Champion Oakland Athletics. Canseco in his career stroked 462 home runs, accumulating a batting average of .266.
