Broncos send RHP pitcher Steve Raburn to Rio Grande Valley, sign RHP Reyes Dorado

The Laredo Broncos of the United League have announced they have sent RHP Steve Raburn (6-5, 220) to the Rio Grande Valley White Wings to satisfy the Juan Peralta trade completed earlier in the 2010 season. Raburn, in 2010 for the Broncos was 1-1 with a 12.28 ERA. In 6 appearances he had thrown 7.1 innings. Raburn allowed 10 hits, 11 runs (ten earned), he walked four and struck out nine while picking up one save for the Broncos. Raburn will be active and in uniform for the White Wings during tonight’s series finale between the Broncos and White Wings at Veterans Field.
To fill the roster spot the Broncos have announced they have signed RHP Reyes Dorado (6-1, 200). Dorado attended Arizona State University with current Bronco Mike Murphy in 2008. With the Sun Devils, Dorado went 3-1 in 24 games with a 5.60 ERA. Drafted by the Angels in the 14th round of the 2008 draft, Dorado played a season and a half in the Angels organization before injuring his wrist. Dorado, in his professional career is 3-1 with a 8.16 ERA in 33 games, he has three saves.
