In the 10th week, DH/Catcher D.J. Dixon repeats as player of the week in back to back fashion.
D.J. continued his hot streak by batting a solid .357 batting average with 3 doubles, 2 homers and 7 RBI’s. He only struck out twice in 28 at bats.
He is batting .400 for the season. Leading the ULB.
D.J Dixon joins the ULB and the Broncos for the first time in his career.
Recorded a 40 game hitting streak while attending San Jacinto College in 2003. Signed as an undrafted free agent by the San Francisco Giants in 2004. Played in the Giants organization for two years before moving to independent baseball. In six years in professional baseball has a career .309 BA in 263 games. To go along with the BA, Dixon has 55 doubles, 17 HR’s, and has only struck out 78 times in 771 at bats.
