Webb County Sheriff’s Office Disrupts and Dismantles Drug Operation

Deputies seize cocaine, weapons and ammunition
Laredo, Texas (Webb County) – On Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at approximately 3:00 p.m., The Webb County Sheriff’s Office received a call through the Crime Stoppers tip line leading to a narcotic investigation at the 100 block of Tours. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 84.2 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $5,305.00, one shotgun, one semi automatic long rifle, two semi automatic handguns, ammunition and drug paraphernalia (cellophane wrap, plastic baggies, weigh scales).
Arrested was Francisco Esquivel, 37, he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a felony offense. Esquivel was transported to the webb county jail in lieu of no bond pending magistration.
