MANDATORY EVACUATION

Transportation Services for Affected Areas

(Laredo, TX  9:50 a.m.)  Mandatory evacuation has been ordered for people who live in the affected flooded areas of Allen Street, Chacon Creek, Los Martinez and Quail Creek.  These areas are seeing flood waters rising and must leave the area immediately to higher ground or to the Laredo Civic Center shelter.  Reverse 9-1-1 calls are being made to residents in the affected area, informing them of this information.

El Metro will provide bus services for those residents who need transportation to the Civic Center.

Residents should call 3-1-1 OR 795-2800 OR the Emergency Operation Center at 725-5110 to request those services.
