Jeff Jamnik pitches the Broncos to their fourth victory in a row

The Broncos plated six runs in the bottom of the seventh and rewarded RHP Jeff Jamnik for his phenomenal pitching effort with the 13-2 victory.  The Broncos sent RHP Jeff Jamnik (2-1) to the mound against the Road Runners starter RHP Mike Reeves (4-4)
Jamnik began the game with a bang, striking out the side in the top of the first and sending the Broncos into the dugout on a high note for their first at bats.

Neither team scored in  the first three innings, until the bottom of the fourth when the Broncos finally broke through.  Salvador Paniagua walked and went to third on the Jonathan Cisneros double.  A wild pitch scored Paniagua and Nick Mahin lined an RBI single into center field to score Cisneros and the Broncos took a 2-0 lead.

In the bottom of the fifth, Flynn got on via the base on balls and after an error moved him to second base he came home to score on Mike Murphy’s RBI single which gave the Broncos the 3-0 lead.

Jonathan Cisneros homered in the bottom of the fourth and gave the Broncos a 4-0 lead.

In the top of the sixth the Road Runners finally broke through and put a run on the board against Jamnik. Vincent Blue walked and came home to score on the Wilmer Pino fielder’s choice, that made the score 4-1 Broncos. 

In the bottom of the seventh the Broncos offense blew the game open, they brought six runs home to score on eight hits and Laredo sent 11 men to the plate.  Carlos Arroyo hit an RBI triple and Nick Mahin hit a two run triple to cap off the scoring, and the Broncos took a 10-1 lead.

RHP James Maxwell (0-0) came on and pitched a perfect eighth inning to get the Broncos back into the dugout.

Laredo added three runs in the bottom of the eighth, an RBI single by D.J Dixon and a throwing error by the Road Runners brought all three runs home and the lead was 13-1 Broncos.

Alexis Hernandez hit a solo home run in the top of the ninth to make the score 13-2 Broncos, but that was the only run the Road Runners would score, and the Broncos took home the 13-2 victory

RHP Jeff Jamnik turned in another outstanding performance on the mound, throwing seven solid innings and giving up only six hits and one run, while walking just two and striking out eight, while picking up his second victory of the season and pitching the Broncos to their fourth victory in a row.
