Broncos cancel game one vs. Colts on Thursday; will play double header on Saturday July 3rd

Due to the continuing threat of thunderstorms over Laredo as a result of Hurricane Alex the Laredo Broncos (13-19) announced yesterday that they will not play their regularly scheduled game on Thursday July 1st against the San Angelo Colts (19-13).
The forecast for Laredo calls for heavy rain on Wednesday night and throughout the morning on Thursday but will improve through the holiday weekend.
The Broncos and Colts will play the scheduled game on Friday July 2nd; with first pitch at 7:35 PM and then play a double header on Saturday July 3rd. First pitch in game one on Saturday is set for 6:05 PM, with game two to begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
The finale with the Colts, set for the fourth of July, will start at the regularly scheduled time, 7:35 PM and the annual Fourth of July fireworks show will begin 10 minutes after the conclusion of the game on Sunday July 4th.
All tickets to the the Thursday July 1st game will be accepted for both games of the double header set for Saturday July 3rd at Veterans Field.
