Webb County Sheriff’s Office Continues the Fight Against Theft

Laredo, Texas (Webb County) – On or about April 23, 2010, around midnight in the early hours of Saturday April 24, 2010, unknown subjects entered two warehouses located at the 14000 block of Industry lane, Laredo, Texas, in the warehouse district located on FM road 1472.
The unknown subjects gained entrance through a warehouse by cutting the lock and fence, the subjects continued to knock down the chain link fence in order to gain entrance to another property. The subjects used a tractor that was already there at the location. The subjects connected a tractor trailer and then drove away with the tractor trailer and its contents. The trailer contained numerous rolls of fabric worth an estimated value of over $26,000.
The tractor and trailer was found empty at the 8400 block of Texas loop. Both vehicles used Mexican license plates.
The Webb County Sheriff Office in conjunction with the Laredo Police Department Auto Theft Division, are asking the community for their assistance, in reporting any information that they might have or heard on this theft.
