Man Found with Gunshot Wound

Laredo, Texas ( Webb County) – On Monday, May 3rd, 2010, at approximately 10 p.m., Webb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 call approximately 25 miles out on Highway 359. Deputies encountered a Honduran citizen with a possible gunshot wound to his upper torso, the male subject was immediately provided with medical attention and is now under the care of University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Deputies were able to recover a long arm rifle which was taken into custody. This investigation continues, Webb County Sheriff’s Office would like to Thank the United States Border Patrol and their air support for their assistance.
