CAPERS Detectives Investigate Early Morning Shooting

On Sunday, May 09, 2010 at approximately 5:04 am Laredo Police received a call of a shooting at the 2000 block of Aldama Street. Upon arrival officers discovered a 39 year old man identified as Luis Roberto Pacheco lying in the parking lot of an apartment complex with a single gunshot to the right leg. Pacheco was taken to the LMC where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The scene was examined and photographed while officers also collected various pieces of evidence. Detectives are conducting an investigation and have various leads in the case. The case is considered open and ongoing.
