On-going extension construction project forces temporary closure
Due to the con-going construction of the Bartlett Avenue extension project, a section of Bartlett Avenue is going to be closed to thru traffic from Hillside Street to Gale Street from Friday, May 7, to Friday, May 28, 2010. (See attached map). Vehicles going east on Gale Street will continue on Thomas Avenue, and then turn west on Hillside Street to get Bartlett Avenue. Vehicles going east on Hillside Street will continue on Hillside Street, and then turn north on Thomas Avenue, then continue on Gale Street. The contractor for this project is Zertuche Construction.
Motorists are urged to find alternate routes, but if traveling in the area, to please drive with extreme caution and observe and obey all traffic control and detour signs for their safety and the safety of the construction crews working on this very important project.
