Sheriff Cuellar Encourages Elementary Children to Read

Laredo, Texas – Wednesday, April 21st, 2010, Sheriff Cuellar visited JC Martin Elementary Library to read to a group of 4th graders. Laredo Independent School District celebrates National Library Week April 19 – 23rd, Sheriff Cuellar has been on a reading journey this week trying to reach as many children as possible through the art of reading. The children selected a book for the Sheriff to read and quietly listened and asked questions afterwards. The staff and students presented Sheriff Cuellar with a gift and extended an invitation for another visit.
