City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas once again welcomed John Quinones, ABC News Prime Time Anchor/Correspondent, as well as City of Nuevo Laredo Mayor Ramon Garza Barrios, for a joint interview regarding border issues; specifically, the continued drug violence in Mexico and the potential threat of spill-over into Texas. Quinones, a San Antonio native and St. Mary’s University alumni, has often covered hard-hitting stories around the globe. Both mayors hope the Quinones interview will give a true picture of the reality of their city, often dismissed by stereotypes throughout the United States
