On Monday March 29, 2010 at approximately 9:09 a.m. Laredo Police Officers were dispatched to United South High School for a robbery that just occurred. Upon the officers arrival he was met by the victim who advised that he had just been robbed at gun point at the intersection of Guaymas and Monclova.  The victim stated that while walking to school a white two door Pontiac grand am with 4 male subjects stopped next to him. The driver asked him if he had a phone on him. He told the driver he did not. The subject then saw that the victim had an I-pod and asked for it. The driver then asked for the I-Phone. When the victim refused to hand over the item the driver then told him he had a gun and then showed it to him. The victim in fear of imminent harm complied and gave him the head phones and i-pod. The subjects then drove off headed West on Monclova.   Later that morning at approximately 10:00 a.m. a Laredo Police Officer spotted the suspect vehicle and stopped the white 2 door grand am by the intersection of Del Mar and Windfield. The Grand Am the suspects were driving in had been reported stolen earlier in the day.  The four occupants were arrested and taken to the Detectives Division for investigative purposes.  One of the suspects stated Nestor Cervantes pulled out a gun and robbed a person in south Laredo earlier.

Through the course of the investigation it was determined that Nestor Antonio Cervantes was the person who pulled out the weapon during the robbery, and Alex Flores as the person who was in the back seat asking the victim questions on the street. All four suspects were charged with Aggravated Robbery, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.   Police recovered a .357 Magnum revolver, a Hypodermic Syringe, .30 grams of heroin, and the I-pod.
