On Thursday, January 7, 2010 at approximately 9:30 pm, police were dispatched to the Dollar General Store on Mines Road for a robbery call. Shortly thereafter, Detectives arrived and interviewed employees, who provided a general description of the assailant who demanded money in Spanish from the registers and the safe. The surveillance video depicted a lone, masked individual pointing his weapon at the employees. If anyone has any information on this robbery or the suspect they are asked to call Laredo Police at 795-2800. All calls will remain anonymous.
