Police need help finding wanted fugitive

Blas Cecilio Sanchez, age 28, is wanted for 3 counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault. Sanchez is accused of having forced himself on a child under the age of 14. The incident is stemming from a complaint filed on March of 2009. The child out cried to a teacher and then relatives after the incident. The child was given a forensic interview and also underwent a rape kit examination. Forensic evidence was also collected and submitted for testing. DNA confirmed Sanchez’s alleged rape of the child. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Blas Sanchez they are asked to call the Laredo PD at 795-2800. All calls are anonymous.
