Thanks to Saturday night’s 4-3 overtime loss to Corpus the Bucks winless streak has been stretched to three games (0-1-2). Four different players scored in Saturday’s loss for the Bucks. Lance Monych scored a goal in four of the Bucks last five games. Monych has scored a total of six goals in the last five contests, including a hat trick Tuesday in Missouri.

Including Saturday night’s game 13 of the Bucks last 21 games have been decided by one goal. Overall this season the Bucks are 6-2-6 in one-goal contests.

Both Laredo and Texas lost in overtime Saturday night to keep them tied for third-place in the Southern Conference with 32 points, with the Bucks having played two less games than the Brahmas. Texas hosts Wichita today.

Today’s game is the fifth of only 10 meetings this season for the Bucks against the Northern Conference. So far this season Laredo holds a 2-1-1 mark against the North, but have gone winless in their last two against that conference (0-1-1).

Tulsa enters today’s game looking to get back on track in the Northern Conference. The Oilers were 12-3-1, but have gone 1-9 in their last 10 games to fall to fifth in the North.

The Oilers, who lead the CHL in shorthanded goals with nine, will finish up their two-game South Texas swing Tuesday in Rio.

The Bucks will travel to Corpus Christi Tuesday night to play their fourth game this month against the Ice Rays.
