Thursday and Friday’s Recycling Pick-Up to be TOMORROW

Holiday closure forces change in regular schedule
Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 24, 2009, the City of Laredo Solid Waste Services Division will be picking up the recycling blue bags, normally scheduled for pick-up this Thursday AND Friday.
“Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, we’ll go by and pick-up the recycling early,” said Willie Bote, everyone’s favorite environmentally friendly trashcan mascot. “This way, everyone can start their recycling collecting anew again,” he concluded.
The new schedule of twice monthly recycling pick-up may vary slightly, depending on holidays or other closures; however, the pick-up will still be twice a month for either recycling or branch pick-up.
