TEMPORARY, NIGHTTIME CLOSURES OF IH 35 MAINLANES BEGIN OCT. 20

For more efficient traffic control, the FM 1472 SB access loop will be closed to thru traffic and ALL FM 1472 SB traffic will be directed to access southbound direct connector (SBDC) on ALL days listed below.
● Oct. 20 – NB IH 35 closure north of Del Mar. All NB traffic will be required to exit at the Del Mar exit and use frontage road to access on-ramp south of Shiloh to return to NB IH 35.
● Oct. 23-24 – Same as Oct. 20, however since Oct. 24 is a Saturday, the closure might extend beyond 6 a.m.
● Oct. 29 – Both NB and SB IH 35 mainlanes will require closures. NB IH 35 will be closed from approximately 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and will re-open. The same detour will occur as Oct. 20. SB IH 35 will be closed just south of Shiloh. All SB traffic will need to exit at the FM 1472/Del Mar/Santa Maria exit and re-enter IH 35 SB at entrance ramp just north of Mann Road.
● Oct. 30-31 – SB IH 35 will be closed just south of Shiloh; however, since Oct. 31 is Saturday, the closure might extend beyond 6 a.m. All SB traffic will need to exit at the FM 1472/Del Mar/Santa Maria exit and re-enter IH 35 SB at the entrance ramp just north of Mann Road.
● Nov. 2 – NB IH 35 will be closed from approximately 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and will re-open. (Follow same detour as 10/20/09). A rolling closure assisted by police officers will take place in order to move equipment across IH 35.
● Nov. 4 – SB IH 35 will be closed just south of Shiloh. All SB traffic will need to exit at the FM 1472/Del Mar/Santa Maria exit and re-enter IH 35 SB at entrance ramp just north of Mann Road.
● Nov. 5 – SB IH 35 will be closed just south of Shiloh. All SB traffic will need to exit at the FM 1472/Del Mar/Santa Maria exit and re-enter IH 35 SB at entrance ramp just north of Mann Road.
● Nov. 6 – Santa Maria closure from Del Mar north to FM 1472. No traffic will be allowed within this area. IH 35 SBFR traffic north of FM 1472 will be re-directed to NB FM 1472.
● Nov. 7 – Santa Maria closure from Del Mar north to FM 1472. No traffic will be allowed within this area. IH 35 SBFR traffic north of FM 1472 will be re-directed to NB FM 1472.
● Nov. 9 – Santa Maria closure from Del Mar north to FM 1472. No traffic will be allowed within this area. IH 35 SBFR traffic north of FM 1472 will be re-directed to NB FM 1472.
● Nov. 10 – Santa Maria closure from Del Mar north to FM 1472. No traffic will be allowed within this area. IH 35 SBFR traffic north of FM 1472 will be re-directed to NB FM 1472.
