One Vehicle Rollover Sends One to Hospital in Critical Condition

Laredo, Texas ( Webb County) – On Friday, October 16, 2009, at approximately 12:49 a.m., Webb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover by the intersection of Rancho Penitas Rd. and Palomino St. located in Penitas Subdivision. The vehicle involved in the accident was a red 2002 Ford Ranger traveling west bound at a very high rate of speed, which played as a factor in the accident. It appears that the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a light pole causing the vehicle rollover. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Juan Angel Flores, 44 years of age.
Flores was ejected from the vehicle by the Laredo Fire Department Rescue Unit and transported in critical condition to a local Hospital, Flores was later transported to a San Antonio Hospital. The accident is pending investigation.
