Milling, Resurfacing of Calton Road

Starting Monday, October 26, 2009, the City of Laredo Public Works Division will begin milling Calton Road between Springfield and San Dario to prepare for future resurfacing of the street. The milling division will be working on the outer edges of the street and the streets will not be closed to through traffic; the resurfacing will continue until Friday, October 30, 2009, when motorists can expect intermittent road closures. The work will be conducted between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Drivers are urged traffic to obey all traffic signs and to please drive carefully next to the employees and equipment.
