Justices To Hold Court In Laredo

Webb County will host the Honorable Justices from the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals as they convene panels Friday, October 23, and hear cases in Commissioners Court at the Webb County Courthouse located at 1000 Houston. The first panel will convene at 8:30 a.m.
On hand for the cases will be Chief Justice Catherine Stone, Justice Karen Angelini, Justice Sandee Bryan Marion, Justice Phylis J. Speedlin, Justice Rebecca Simmons and Justice Steven C. Hilbig. Keith E. Hottle, Clerk of the Court will also participate in the court.
Tonight, the justices will be guests of Webb County Judge Danny Valdez and Commissioners Court and the Laredo Webb County Bar Association. A reception and dinner will be held in their honor at Palenque Grill.
Court will end at noon Friday with the Justices attending a working lunch and hear a CLE presentation and will also hear a Fourth Court of Appeals Update.
“We are truly honored to have the justices hold court right here in Laredo, and look forward to their visit,” said Webb County Judge Danny Valdez.
