The Vidal M. Treviño School of Communications & Fine Arts invites the community to the 17th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival. The festival will take place on Thursday, October 29, at St. Peter’s Plaza in downtown Laredo at 9:00 a.m.
Dr. Martha Villarreal, the director of the VMT Magnet School, said this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever. “We are working together to make this the best Hispanic Festival at the VMT that Laredo has ever seen. We will have more food and game booths, entertainment for the entire family, and new cool and shaded areas for the people to just relax and enjoy the celebration. You don’t want to miss it!”
The Hispanic Festival features live performances from VMT students, including dancers, musicians, and theater arts’ performers. “This is a wonderful opportunity for the students to showcase their talents and show the community what VMT is all about,” Villarreal added.
