SHILOH EXTENSION GROUNDBREAKING

At yesterdays groundbreaking ceremony for the Shiloh Drive extension project, Council Member Gene Belmares reiterated his commitment to not only improving his District VI community, but also, improving the entire Laredo community. The Shiloh extension, he said, is a project that will help not only the residents who live in the area, but others who travel there for work or other business. Joining Belmares for the official groundbreaking are City of Laredo City Engineer Rogelio Rivera; Parks & Leisure Services Assistant Director Osbaldo Guzman; Environmental Services Director Riazul Mia; Building Development Services Director Erasmo Villarreal; Assistant City Manager Jesus Olivares; Cm. Belmares; Martinez Paving Contractor George Martinez and daughter; Keep Laredo Beautiful Advisory Board President Fred Santos; Sherfey Engineering President Jo Emma Sherfey; and Martinez Paving Contractor Estella Martinez.
