S.O.S. Coke Float Event Wednesday

Webb County Judge Danny Valdez, Guerra Communications, Z-93, Big Buck Country and the Young Lawyers Association invites the public to enjoy a coke float Wednesday, August 26 at Central Jury Room located in the Webb County Justice Center. Coke floats will be available from 1-3 p.m. while supplies last.
The event is part of the Supply Our Students project which provides school supplies for kids who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford them. Over the past nine years over 80 tons of school supplies has been collected and donated to the local school districts for distribution.
By donating three packages of school supplies, participants will not only get a free coke float but will also get one ticket to the upcoming 10th Annual Supply Our Students (SOS) Concert. The concert will be held at Life Downs on September 9, from 6 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. the day of the concert.
The 10th Annual S.O.S. Concert will be hosted by well known Z-93 radio personality “the Bird”.
Each year the concert collects more and more school supplies that are distributed to the needy school children of Laredo I.S.D. and United I.S.D. and continues to draw bigger crowds and talent.
“The Supply Our Students Concert event directly benefits the kids and donors because you get the satisfaction of knowing that you are giving to a noble cause and you get great Tejano entertainment in return.” Said Judge Danny Valdez. “I want to especially thank the sponsors who have helped to make the event a huge success.”
Scheduled to appear are Solido, Siggno, Los Palominos, David Lee Garza, Jay Perez, Bobby Pulido, Origen, Elida Y Avante, Javier Galvan y Fama and many more.
