“One City, One Book First Discussion”

The first One City, One Book group discussion of the book, “Enrique’s Journey,” by Sonia Nazario will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the TAMIU Killam Library Great Room, located on the 3rd Floor. The group discussion, to be held in both English and Spanish, is an informal setting that will allow for full exploration of messages, themes and ideas related to immigration. Even if you haven’t finished reading the book, available in both English and Spanish and can be purchased at B. Dalton’s Book Sellers or checked out at the Laredo Public Library, show up and share your reaction to this powerful story.
