LPD Narcotics Division and ICE Agents seize bundles of marijuana after a brief chase

On 07-06-09, Laredo Police Narcotics/Vice Unit with assistance by Laredo Police Patrol Division, and I.C.E. Agents followed a vehicle, a 2004 Red in color Dodge Intrepid, suspected of having a load from previous narcotics investigations. Patrol attempted to stop vehicle when the vehicle sped up and failed to stop. The vehicle eventually stopped at the end of Soria and El Sabinal, at which time several male subjects ran east bound from that location. Vehicle was loaded with (4) large bundles of Marijuana (see pics) with a total weight of 310 pounds. The occupants fled into the brush and were not located.
