Aug. 10 temp. Road Closures to Preface SB FM 1472 Bridge Opening

Temporary road closures today August 10, 2009 to preface SB FM 1472 bridge opening to install reconfigure pavement markings in order to open up the FM 1472 SBDC (Southbound Direct Connector) to IH 35. Once all pavement markings have been reconfigured, the FM 1472 Southbound Connector will be open for the traveling public.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: Detours in effect. Be prepared to use alternate routes. Expect delays. In preparation to open the FM 1472 Southbound (SB) Direct Connector (DC) to access IH 35 Southbound Lanes, the following closures will take place:
1.) Temporary closure of on ramp from SB FM 1472 to SB IH 35.
2.) Temporary closure of SB IH 35 right most (west) lane.
3.) Temporary closure of SB IH 35 Mann Road exit
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The traveling public should slow down, drive with extreme caution, and observe all safety signs, traffic control devices and flaggers in the work zone area.
