Jackie L. Ramos Candidate for Webb County District Clerk and her team held a plate sale on Saturday, July 18, 2009 in front of the Armadillo Homes Corporate Offices. The Plate Sale was a huge success thanks to the countless supporters, family, and friends who participated in the event. One by one cars with supporters lined up to pick up their plates which consisted of a Sirloin Steak, Rice, and Beans. Mrs. Ramos would like to thank the many people that came by to visit with them, it was indeed a pleasure to see and greet everyone. She added “I look forward to meeting more people as we enter and continue the campaign season” . Mrs. Ramos continued by saying “I would like to thank everyone who helped make this plate sale a success, no one can do anything alone, but we can do anything when there are many”. The plate sale took place at the Armardillo Offices on Del Mar starting at 11a.m. and ending at 2p.m. This is just the first of many events that Team Jackie Ramos 2010 has planned for a meet and greet with the candidate. The response was huge and the campaign is expected to draw even more attention as the election season nears.
