The Colts stuck 1st in the bottom of the 1st.  They loaded the bases with 2 outs against Broncos’ starter Tano Tijerina.  With Josh Collazo at the plate, Tijerina threw a wild pitch allowing Jason Diaz to score from 3rd.  Collazo then singled into right field scoring both Jason Landreth and Hunter Jobes.  Hank Lanto followed that at bat with a walk.  Blake Shaffer the singled up the middle scoring Collazo from 2nd.  Lanto headed for 3rd on the throw home, and Luany Sanchez’s throw to nail him at 3rd went into left field.  Lanto wound up scoring and Shaffer went to 3rd.  That would be it for Tijerina, as Jason Herman would come into the game.  Herman would give up a rbi single to Butch Ballez which allowed Shaffer to score and give San Angelo the 6-0.

The Colts tacked on another run in the 3rd.  With runners on the corners and 1 out, Blake Shaffer reached on a fielder’s choice.  The runner at 3rd Hunter Jobes scored to extend their lead to 7-3.

Julio Pinto came into the game to pitch the 9th inning.  With 1 out Jason Diaz doubled.  Ronnie Gaines then hit a fly ball to right fielder Argelis Nunez who dropped it for an error allowing Gaines to be safe at 1st and Diaz to advance to 3rd.  Jason Landreth was then intentionally walked to load the bases.  Carlos Alvarez was then brought into the game for Laredo to pitch to the left handed hitter Hunter Jobes.  Alvarez got Jobes to fly out to shallow centerfield to keep Diaz at 3rd.  With the right hander Josh Collazo coming up to the plate the Broncos brought in closer Tristan Crawford to send the game to extra innings.  Crawford got Collazo to fly out and send the game to the 10th.

The Broncos threatened in the top of the 10th.  With 1 out, Argelis Nunez singled and then went to 2nd on a walk to Luany Sanchez.  With Andres Santos batting a wild pitch was thrown by Chace Vacek moving Nunez to 3rd and Sanchez to 2nd.  Santos then popped out for the 2nd out.  OJ Garza hit a little dribbler on the infield and was thrown out at 1st on a bang-bang play, as the game remained tied at 7.

The Colts started off their half of the 10th with a single by Hank Lanto.  Blake Shaffer then came up and hit the game winning double scoring Lanto from first and giving San Angelo the 8-7 lead.
